🍼 Easy Banana Oat Muffins (The Snack I Always Have Ready)

Some days, feeding my baby feels harder than anything else.

He’s hungry… but picky.
He wants snacks… but throws half of them.
And I just need something I can grab without thinking.

That’s why I started making these.

They’re soft, healthy, and actually get eaten (which says a lot).

And the best part?
They take like 20 minutes start to finish.

🍌 Why I Make These Every Week

  • No added sugar
  • Soft texture (perfect for babies)
  • Easy to hold → less mess
  • Freezer-friendly
  • Actually filling

These are one of the few things I always keep on hand.

🥣 Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Optional: blueberries or chocolate chips

👩‍🍳 How to Make Them (Super Simple)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl
  3. Add egg, milk, and cinnamon → mix
  4. Stir in oats and baking powder
  5. Let batter sit 5 minutes (softens oats)
  6. Pour into muffin tray
  7. Bake 15–18 minutes

That’s it.

💡 Mom Tip (This Changed Everything)

I make a double batch and freeze them.

When I need one:

  • 20–30 seconds in the microwave
  • Done

No thinking, no stress.

🍽️ Variations (So It Doesn’t Get Boring)

  • Add blueberries
  • Add peanut butter
  • Add shredded apple
  • Add dark chocolate chips (for toddlers)

💬 Real Mom Note

Some days he eats 3 of these.
Some days he throws them on the floor.

But at least I know I have something ready that’s healthy and easy.

And right now… that’s enough.
